Bertrand GUERRA
Guitar, Rock workshops & Contempory music
Bertrand Guerra, who was influenced from an early age by classical and popular music, as well as Basque polyphony, began learning to play the guitar at the age of 11, as a self-taught musician.
Nine years later, he joined the Professional School of Jazz AMR/CPM in Geneva, where he studied with Vinz Vonlanthen for 5 years. It was at this time that he began many fruitful artistic projects: Swong (jazz fusion), Charly B & the Officials (reggae), Big Band de Divonne...
His virtuosity, his skill at improvisation, his in-depth knowledge of harmony and his stylistic eclecticism make him a much sought-after freelance musician for studio sessions and musical productions (films, documentaries).
Parallel to his artistic career, he has been teaching guitar in various establishments since 2007: Maison de la Musique de Divonne, Ecole de Musique de Vallorbe, Collège du Léman, Ecole de Musique de Gex.
